These courses are biblical and theological in nature in that they provide a solid base for understanding the bible and key areas of doctrine.

BT101 – Basic Bible Doctrine

A systematic study of some of the essential elements of Biblical doctrine including the doctrine of God, Christology, sin, and atonement, the nature and purpose of the church.

Scheduled: September 6, 2021 – October 22, 2021

BT102 – How to Study the Bible

This course is designed to train the student how to study the Bible independently. Students will learn the basic Bible study techniques: devotional, inductive and deductive. They will also learn to use a host of bible study aids, i.e., Strong’s Analytical Concordance, a lexicon, and Vine’s Expository Dictionary of the New Testament Words and other resources. This course will teach how to read the bible, equip you with the tools for bible study, and methods of bible study.

BT103 – Principles of Interpretation

This course teaches the basic rules and methods of Biblical interpretation (Hermeneutics) and how to apply them to your own study. The student will discover the importance of historical context, the rules of interpretations and how to apply proper exegesis

BT104 – Old Testament Survey

The objective of this course is an overview of the entire Old Testament. The focus will be on the unity of the Old Testament along with examining themes and verses. The student will learn the major characters in the Old Testament as well as the cultural background, literature, critical issues, and theology prevalent during this period.

Scheduled: November 2, 2020 – December 18, 2020

BT105 – New Testament Survey

This course presents an overview of the New Testament. The focus is on the unity of the New Testament. It examines the historical, social, economic, and religious background out of which Christianity arose. Specific themes and verses will be examined.

Scheduled: March 29, 2021 –May 14, 2021

BT106 – Divine Healing

A study of the supernatural intervention of God into the natural realm. This course will provide the student with an understanding of the methods of divine healing, as well as a confidence in the promises and doctrine of healing as presented in the Word of God. Relevant passages of scripture will be explored in order to fully understand divine healing.

BT107 – End-Time Studies: Eschatology

This course is designed to explore the major millennial views (Post-Mil, Pre-Mil, A-Mil) and their impact on the life of the believer. This course deals with the second coming of Christ. The student will also discover what the meaning of such texts as Daniel 9 or Revelations so as it relate to eschatology.

BT108 – The Life and Teachings of Christ

This course covers the harmony of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the four gospels.

Schedule: October 31, 2022 – December 16, 2022

BT109 – Gospel and Epistles of John

An in-depth study of the life of Jesus Christ as portrayed by the beloved disciple. Students will study the seven signs John gives as proving the divinity of Christ. Also, a verse by verse study of the three epistles of John and their significant.

BT110 – Studies in Luke & Acts

A study of the charismatic nature of the gospel of Luke and the book of Acts. The student will explore the nature and purpose of the two books written by Luke.

BT111 – Studies in Romans

An in-depth study of the theology of the Apostle Paul concerning sin, justification, and the sanctifying work of the Cross in the life of the believer. Special emphasis will be given on how the power of sin is broken in the Christian’s life.

BT112 Pastoral Epistles (Titus, I & II Timothy, and Philemon)

A study of Bible principles and qualifications of leadership as found in I & II Timothy, Titus, and Philemon, and how to apply them. Other Biblical doctrines discovered therein will be discussed.

BT113 – General Epistles (Hebrews thru Jude)

This course deals with the doctrine of practical Christian living. Hebrews gives the contrasts between the Old and New covenants. In the in-depth study of the epistles of James, Peter, John, and Jude, the student will gain a fuller appreciation of these apostles and their messages.

BT114 – Prison Epistles (Colossians, Ephesians, Philemon)

The distinct message of Paul’s letters to Ephesus, Colossae, and Philemon is analyzed with reference to their historical setting, cultural and religious background, critical issues, and literacy structure.

BT115 – Pentateuch (Genesis thru Deuteronomy)

The New Testament reminds us that Jesus is the son of David and of Abraham pointing us to the origins of our faith—the Old Testament. The Pentateuch consists of the first five books of the Bible – Genesis through Deuteronomy and is the foundation for all that follows. This course is as survey of the critical issues, history, literary structure of each book.

BT116 – Major Prophets (Isaiah thru Daniel

A study of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel. Attention is given to the main emphasis of each of the prophet’s messages pertaining historically to Israel, and prophetically to Christ and His Church.

BT117 – Minor Prophets (Hosea thru Malachi)

An analysis of each of the minor prophets, dealing with their national life, historical significance, concerns, messages, and cultural and social background

BT118 – History of Israel (I&II Sam. I&II Kings, I&II Chron., Esther, Ruth, Judges, & Joshua

This course is designed to teach the student the general history of the Hebrew people and their covenant with God. The student will explore the major characters, events, and stories contained in the above books. The stories will always be related to the church and the believer.

BT119 – Studies in Revelation

Perhaps the most misunderstood book in the canon of scripture is Revelation. This course will make the symbols and types contained in Revelation understandable.

BT120 – Wisdom Literature (Job, Psalms, Prov, Eccl, & Song of Solomon)

A study of the practical advice contained in these books for a successful life will be explored. Also, the background, themes, and nature of these books will be explored.

BT121 – Contemporary Religious Cults

An overview of the major religious cults in the world. The student will learn how to determine which is a cult and how true Christianity opposes cult teachings. This course will equip the student to win people.

BT122 – The Names of God

This course will explore the numerous revelations of the names of God. What is the significance of these names in helping us understand the nature and character of God will be discussed?

BT123 – Blood Covenant

The Bible is a covenantal book, divided into the Old and New Testaments (Covenants) and containing the progressive revelation of the nine major covenants: Edenic, Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic, New, and Everlasting covenants, and how each of these is fulfilled in our blood covenant relationship with Christ.

BT124 – Temple of Solomon

This course will explore the little-known scriptures which discuss the nature of worship and praise in the Temple of Solomon. How does this lesson of the Temple of Solomon relate to the believer and the church will be discussed?

BT125 – Tabernacle of Moses

This is a fascinating course that takes the student through all aspects of the tabernacle and their significance in Christ.

BT126 – Tabernacle of David

This is comprehensive study will systematically cover all aspects of David’s Tabernacle, stressing the restoring of the church. The emphasis in the class is worship of God.

BT127 – Ezra and Nehemiah

These two books discuss the return of Israel to their land after captivity and how they struggle to rebuild their nation. This course will explore the major themes and characters in these two books.

BT128 – Catechism

This is a primary course which will give the student an overview of the basic themes and concepts in the bible through a question and answer format. The word catechism is a fixed series of questions and answers for basic Christian instruction. For example: “how many books are there in the bible?”

BT129 – Introduction to Church History

This course will expose the students to the various periods of the Christian church from the beginning with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts through its expansion during the Roman Empire, during the Middle Ages, and during the Reformation, up to the current period.
